Hi everyone , I just wondered if any LPN'S were working on the bridge for RN through athabasca. If you are how is it? How much time doyou spend a day working on it? Do any of you work full-time while pursuing this? I am considering taking the program however I am concerned about the time commitment, as I work full-time. I am also in my early 40's, and I am wondering if it would be worth the time and exspense at this stage in life. I would appreciate any feed back at all.
thanks and happy newyear!:)

Hi, I am not an LPN, but I do work with one who is doing her RN through Athabasca. I believe she is working full time, and managing with the work load, and if I recall correctly, she does have a family at home. The only part she is not looking forward to is the practicum part...she needs to take time off to do it. I think she is in her late 30s or early 40s as well.
IMO, yes its worth it. Hard to do at the time, but well worth it afterward. Good luck in whatever you decide to do!
Thank you for the response and the encouragement, I will register for one course and see how I do. I will keep you all posted.
Happy Newyear!
