What do you consider to be prerequisites? I don't believe programs can accept people without a HSD/GED.
Also, I'm not sure if entrance exams are universal, but I do believe they are common.
(When I hear "prerequisites" I think of college courses like A&P, Psychology, etc.)

I think it unlikely that there wouldn’t be some prereqs like high school Algebra I, high school English, and the like. I mean, they’re not going to give away a seat in the program to anybody who walks in the door without any proof at all of academic success, even at the high school/GED level.

Once you get into an LPN program there will be clinical hours, typically during the weekdays. You'll need flexibility in your work schedule.

Okay thanks for the response.
I have my high school cert, so was expecting an intake exams to be admitted for LPN, but most enquiries around requires 1year classes for prereq. Before the main LPN program.

Is these programs through a community college? That would make sense, as they would have some non-nursing core courses as part of the program. Most hospital-based programs (which would not necessarily have the same kind of pre-requisites) have closed in the US...
This is consistent with the increased need for bedside caregivers to be better-prepared for the role. Start studying!
Not just studying having to spent 2years + for LPN?

Thanks ... yes it's a community college. I wish to take the program outside a community college just like I did with my CNA. But Google is not helping with information on LPN schools aside the community college.

Be extra careful if you're looking at private programs. They can be VERY overpriced and often have low pass rates on the boards.
Oh... thanks for the information . Am grateful ?
