Hi,

I had a question what LPN to RN programs that are accepting students? I'm planning on applying for Fall 2020. Originally I was expecting Front Range Community College but they are not accepting LPN to RN students. And neither is Arapahoe Community College. Now I'm not sure what to do. I heard about Colorado Christian University but its a private college and tuition is $16,467 per semester which I think is outrageous. Any suggestions?

Fort Morgan? Quite a haul, but not a lot of choices in Denver. 😞

I’m not, but I know some fellow LPNs who are applying, or will be next year. I noticed that their prerequisites seem limited, and I would think given the distance it might be a little less competitive than some programs.

I’m down in the Springs area and don’t want to try that commute from here. Pikes Peak did not run their LPN to RN last year, and I’m not sure if they will this year or not. It’s getting tough to find programs in Colorado, so I’m considering applying for Hutchinson’s in Kansas (online classes with in-person clinicals). The only others I can think of offhand are Pueblo and Otero, even farther from you if you are in the Denver area. 😞
