I am in my 4th semester of a LPN to RN program. Finals are Dec 17 and I can not wait! My question is this. On our tests, I get myself in a jam by reading too much into the question. How do I stop doing this??? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the site. I moved your post into the LPN to RN Student Forum so that you can get more feedback on your question. Good luck to you.

I'm interested in hearing the answer to this. I've had to learn how not to do that as well. I can tell you that I have to read the question at least 3 times and look at the choices

I can assume you are referring to NCLEX style questions (multiple choice). If so, look at the answers. If 2 of them seem to be relating to the same answer, kick them out and then you are down to 2 options. I used this approach when I took the NCLEX for LPN and I was done in 85 questions. I read the question 3 times before even looking at the answers. wanted to make sure I knew what they were asking. I hope this helps. Jeff
