I just want to introduce myself since this is my first day out of lurk-dom here on allnurses.

I am one of the old timers---I was an LPN for 15 yrs and graduated from an on-line bridge program in December. I sat for my RN boards on Thursday and PASSED!

Congrats on becoming an RN! I have been an LVN for 16 years. Finishing up pre-req's. How long did it take you and what is your salary difference? Are you working at the same job?

congratulations. glad to know there is hope for me yet. been lpn 15 years and working for RN now. hope to be done in next year or so.
