Nursing Students LPN-RN

Hello everyone,

First time posting a topic on here. I was just selected to the Fresno City College LVN to RN program that starts June 2018. Is there any other fellow LVN's who were accepted? Also any RN's that are currently in the program with any advise on what to refresh on. AAAAhhhhh Im so excited.

Yes, still working, but will be working less. Also taking a couple online classes for masters program.

Have you purchased the book pkg yet? Did you notice we are missing the Saunders book? I called Kathy yesterday to let her know. I am freaking out since class begins on Monday. The book pkg co is supposed to be mailing it to my home address. Don't know how long that is going to take. Stressed....

I bought the books on wednesday but havent opened it up yet. I am going to do that today after work!

Also one of the girls said she works 20 hr/week. She said don't work more than 20 hr in the fall. But she does not know about the spring since she is just finished her 3rd semester.

Really?! Aww man! I was planning on working full time still at least for 3rd

I will be working three days a week during the summer session. I will also be doing the concurrent BSN program at UOP. I will be cutting back to one day a week for spring semester unless our classes allow more work time. I have a friend in the program she also said just do a per diem position. I haven't opened the package of the books but I will tonight. What is the Saunders book?

Grrrrr..... Now I have to go back to buy the pants. Does this also include the black pants or just the red ones?

My only option right now is to work full time but hopefully ill be able to figure it all out

Only the red ones

Remember she had to take all the classes, five days a week. We only have to take the three classes. It all depends what you can juggle.

Hey dont know if you guys will get this but the classes they added to our schedule are they supposed to be RN 55 and 56?

Does anyone know how many student does FCC take into their LVN - RN program? Just curious, cuz I applied for 2019.
