I am looking for any one who has completed their program, I want to do the online version called LERN. How were the clinicals? And how are the instructors? Thanks.

I am currently enrolled. I love it!
However, if you are going for the part time option be aware that it feels more like full time; very time consuming. The clinicals are in the summer, where there is a very very intense 2 months (*note* You have to take their clinical at there nearby hospital; so I have to rent a house for 2 months next summer; I live in Monroe WA.)
Good luck, it is a very cool option!

I'm a graduate of their normal program but I have a couple friends who took some time off after we finished our LPN and are now in this correspondence course. They have both had to take a lot longer than they initially thought it would take them d/t the extensive reading and testing the program requires.
Personally I feel that I learn more in a classroom setting and absorb most of a lecture and very little of the reading we had to do. Also I'm not sure if I'm disciplined enough to stay on top of the work for this kind of program.
I'm very familiar with the main instructor of this course and it seems either you love her or you hate her just depends on the person--my experience has been positive.
LCC as a nursing dept is phenomenal and well respected in the surrounding hospitals.

Does anyone know what you need to score on the TEAS to get into LCC? Thank

I saw that you graduated from the program at LCC. How hard was it finding a rental for the summer clinicals. I'm looking into the program but I live in GA. The summer is my concern. Any advice?
Lots of rentals around here...you could look at the local newspaper The Daily News

I am a recent grad of the LPN 2 RN program at LCC. It is fast paced and not for the faint of heart for sure. I did my clinicals at St John's Peace Health in Lovgview(though they sites in Vancouver, Renton, and Olympia as well) My friend and I got a furnished 2 bedroom about a 3-4 blocks from the hospital for 525. a month wsg paid. It wasn't the Ritz, but it did the job. Hope it helps. If you have any otherquestions let me know:chuckle
