I have hit a wall in the excelsior program. Life got in the way, divorce, moved, started full time work,etc..the typical excuses..LOL Anyway, I am almost done..I have 3 courses left. Life Spans 1, 2 & 3. I'm trying very hard to realize I'm close, and I've tried very hard to begin again. My plan is to do that after New Year's. Anyone willing to help, I'm willing to help you, as I've completed most of the program. Also, anyone out there with tips on the LS exams, I'm all ears!

I was in the same situation! All the fees were so overwhelming, and the though of the clinical..... drove me back to a traditional college. I am waiting to see if they will accept my excelsior credits tho... Doing LVN to RN with a BSN pathway.... Good luck to you with excelsior!!!

Congrats! That is amazing that you are almost finished! I was just reading some of the blogs about the CPNE and preparation for it. Looks like preparation would be the key. I am about to enroll in the Excelsior program. I am interested in your opinion about your journey through it, any thoughts? :)

I'm doing LPN-RN as well through Excelsior. My snag is I found out I have to take math. Math hates me and I hate math!! They recommended a CLEP college mathematics but just thinking about it makes my brain hurt! Any suggestions?

Hi Amy, I'm an excelsior student going through RUE. Happy to hear that ur almost done. I'd love to chat with you if possible. I haven't taken too many courses yet. I feel really over whelmed t times teaching myself with no one to chat with about all this. Sorry about the life situation. I too divorced and decided I need to be more than an LVN to support myself. Holler at me! I'm at [email protected]
