Lpn to rn - athabasca?

Published

Help,

I have tried to contact athabasca student services with no luck. I am an LPN with a BC license. I've waited and tried for many years to get into the RN programs here in BC with no luck. I am wondering, as it seems, i need my Alberta License - am i still able to work here in bc? I do plan on taking this course with a good friend, is there by chance they will group us together for clinicals as it would be much easier for us?

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Thread has been moved to the Canadian Nursing Programs forum.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

As long as you maintain your BC license then you should be good to go

You need to maintain both a BC and an AB license while enrolled in the course.

Placement spaces are limited. So there will be no guarantee you and your friend can go together. The placements can be anywhere in the province.
