hi, if any one is interested in the lpn corps at cassadaga jobs corps let me know....... i attended that school back in 99-00 and it was an excellent experience not to mention cassadaga atleast when i was there they were #1 jobs corps in the state of new york!!! when i attended, there was only a course for cna certification which i obtained but it seems things have change....and now they have the lpn course to as well..... cassadaga job corps is a live on site campus as oppose to the one in brooklyn that is not and permits you to go home every day..... you have to be 16-24 yrs to my knowledge to attend any jobs corps so if any of you have teenagers or know and young adults who desire to enter int the nursing field and is willing to leave home and stay for atleast 1 yr, this would be the perfect opportunity to do so because to my knowledge ist is a free program....so if anyone is interested call 1800-733-5627 to speak to a recruiter..... if i can help in any way pm me with any further questions or comments .....

I am so interested in this program...However, I am turning 24 May 24th. I want more information at this program. I don't mind leaving home for a year if it means that I will become a nurse! Yay. Please advise

well i just graduated from the 2010 class in oct and i just found out a week ago that i passed the boards. i was living on center so that was a little stressful but i knew the goal at hand so i just stayed focused! it's a very good program if you make use of it and i got a nursing education for free! they also paid for the fees to taking the nclex but only the first time. you've reached the age limit but you're not over it, call and find out what you can do to guarantee you getting in the program, maybe you an enroll and take a different trade in the meantime until you wait to be accepted in the lpn program. good luck! :nurse:

Hey, I am very interested in doing the LPN program this upcoming fall at Cassadaga Job Corps, and I wanted to know a few things. How was it like living on center? Like what were some of the specific rules and regulations you had to follow? How is community around the center and are you able to go off center to go around and do fun things like shop, movies, etc.? How was the LPN program as a whole, are the teachers really helpful in teaching you? How was your experience there? Thank you in advance.

Hi islandgirl23, I just started the process of getting into job corp for the lpn program, but i was told that before i can get into the lpn program that i have to go threw the cna program first. I was wondering what kind of process it is to get into the lpn program. How many students are in the program? Is there a waiting list to? How hard is the lpn classes. I'm very nervous about the whole thing and any help or advice would do wonders. Thanks so much!
