LPN Program @ Canadian Valley Technology Center

Published

Has anyone attended, currently attending, or know someone who attended Canadian Valley Technology Center for their Practical Nursing courses? I start classes on February 1st and I'm just curious to know exactly how the self paced program works and how long on average it takes a student to complete the program. Thank you in advance for any information!

How long after you passed your Teas and applied did it take for you to get to start school.

I took my TEAS at the end of August and got all my stuff turned in the first week of September and started February 1st!

How do you like it? Is it hard going self paced? any tips I start in July?

I love it. I love self paced. I can accelerate through courses that are easier for me to understand and have the option to slow down in courses that are a little more difficult for me. Tips would be: Don't be afraid to ask questions. The advisors are very intelligent and want you to be successful. The students who have been there for awhile know the struggle and are always willing to help as well. COME TO CLASS! Seriously. You do not want to get behind on hours. If you stay behind on hours for an extended period of time, you can be dismissed. That's just extra unnecessary stress. If you come all day Monday-Thursday you can take Friday off!

How long is it going to take you to finish the program do you think
