lpn ny license to nj

i am a graduate bsn in the philippines passed the lon exam in ny does new jersey accepts lpn reciprocity from ny but nyrsjng grad in phil heared they wont

They don't have reciprocity with anyone. You have to apply with the NJ board for your license.

I'm wondering why you're not an RN with a BSN. All my coworkers with a BSN from the Philippines are RNs. Have your educational requirements met the RN requirements? If so why not sit for the NJ NCLEX? In NJ LPNs don't have much opportunity other than nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

You aren't eligible for LPN in NJ as you did not graduate from a practical nursing school. It is irrelevant that you obtained a NY LPN license

if you have a BSN you should apply for the BSN here. i believe you just have to take a the NCLEX and show proof of your education
