I am currently a student a mccc working on my pre reqs to apply for one of their co op programs, but I have recently started thinking about getting my LPN first and then continuing for my RN afterwards. I have heard that there is quite a pay difference but I have no clue what most facilities offer to New Grads. I know that as an LPN in NJ I would not be able to work in a hospital, but are there any other options besides LTC? Correctional, Home care, physicians offices etc.

Did you go to school in central Jersey? If so, may I ask which one? I am starting at Piscataway Votech for LPN in September, just looking for others that have gone through this program.
Also, how was the job search? I've been checking out job opportunities online, seems like there are some out there for LPNs.
Thanks in advance!
:clown:I live in piscataway lol but i went to dover business college in clifton, the job search was very hard as a new grad everyone wanted experience, then i went to a job fair at bergen regional hospital and got hired that month.
