Starting LPN program, what to do before, to get ready?

Hi, I am waiting to hear if I got into the program but I want to spend from now until the end of summer before the LPN program begins getting ready. What types of things should I do to make it easier when I start school. I am making flash cards of Lab Values and studing math problems like metric conversions. Can anyone who is in the program give me other thoughts on what they did or WISH they did before school started. I am just to nervous to sit and wait and need to something. I won't be working and will be starting to get everyone in my family (husband and 3 young teenagers) to have set jobs they will do while I'm in school. I love flash cards it worked great for me when I studied for the Teas and would love to set up a bunch with all kinds of helpful stuff.

Thanks Linda

I have included some weblinks below for you that you may want to click on and read, because you may find them helpful. They are Nursing Fundamentals multimedia lessons specifically designed for practical nursing students in an LPN program. You can browse through them when you get some free time. Hopefully, they will place you ahead of the game in terms of knowledge base. Good luck to you!

Hi thankyou for the link I have started reading it along with "A&P made easy", "Microbiology made easy", "math for nurse's", "NCLEX-PN review cards", and "LPN notes Nurse's clinical pocket guide". I plan on reading, studing and make flashcards until the class starts the end of Aug. If I don't get in I still plan on studing and taking some classes at the community college so I can be fully ready next year when I try again.
