kaplan college sacramento

Hi everyone. Iam looking into the kaplan college in sacramento lvn program that starts in october. I went for the tour already and passed the first test. What i was wondering was does anyone have any thoughts on this school? are you currently attending this class? how are the teachers what type of finacial aid do they have? any info would be greatly appreciated. also i was looking at csi college in vacaville anything on that school would be helpful too.

well, reading here about you sacto gals getting your letters is making me a bit upset. I just called and spoke to my rep about the interviews that are still to be scheduled. I also asked about whether this is usual and customary to wait until this late to inform students whether they're accepted or not. the following is what I was told:

• school is still anticipated to start on the 2nd,
  
• they've been inundated since august with applicants and are totally backlogged,
  
• they've already scheduled interviews for this week,
  
• I'm probably going to be scheduled next week,
  
• I'm still a candidate,
  
• :anbd: blah, blah, blah...
  

gotta wonder. even DH thinks this is kinda weird and unorganized.

ashlie, did you get a conditional or final acceptance and/or are you going to give your notice before you actually get a final acceptance?

this is crazy, makes you wonder....

well i got a conditional letter.. if i pass my drug test turn in my physical then i will be "fully accepted(which im the least bit worried on that issue..lol)" I go tomorrow to fill out paperwork and actually Apply to the school,giving a $20.00 enrollment fee. She told me to bring ca drivers lic and my social security card, so im assuming im filling out fin aid too. Well depending on tomorrows' meeting with admissions if the tuition isnt out of control I will be giving my job notice on friday. I think my job wants to keep me on-call. We have an after hours dept on the weekend and they want me to work sunddays sometimes ( which i think i might take the offer idk yet). i have a fetish for juicy couture and coach so i would like to still be able to buy those items once in awhile...lol

Plaza: is Stockton going to push the start date then? They really should! Especially since it sounds like selections haven't even been made yet. I am sorry you are dealing with this stress too:(

When I talked to my rep after I spoke with Carol, he said I would be filling out financial aid too. So I assume you gals will as well?
