Initial license information letter but no results

Nurses LPN/LVN

I took NCLEX PN on January 6th 2018... on January 16th, I received an initial license information letter from California BVNPT dated January 9th stating: "Congratulations, you have met the requirements for licensure as a vocational nurse or psychiatric technician." Does this mean I passed?

Yes. You don't get issued a license if you fail. Congratulations!

It's pretty hard to fail and still have "met the requirements". Congratulations.

You passed. I don't know how California does things but in my state, I never received "results" regarding either nursing license. I just got my license in the mail.

@ Lilnursesunshine56 Im in the same boat as you. I took my test Jan 4th (im in California also btw) Los Angeles. Got the initial license letter on the 11th and paid. Im still waiting as of today to see any updates on teh breeze. I called the BON and they said to just wait because it last 4-6 weeks after paying. Way to tortures us. Good luck all we can do is wait.

Congratulations!! ☺
