    Hey Bryan24.
I am trying to search all these threads looking for answers to the same questions. I've talked with other people that have just passed nclex also. They said that it was fine to apply for a job and to just explain your current status: awaiting for your license to be sent by mail. I also read in another thread that some people dress nice just in case they get on the spot interviews or they even said that they wear scrubs. I hope others will reply to this thread to confirm some of these things that I have been reading around in threads....

    Good luck job hunting Bryan24!

Hello, and welcome to both of you. I have been around a while, so would suggest the following:
There is a pre-licensed position that hospitals can hire into. It usually includes 4-6 weeks wait for license to be issued.
Do dress well, not fancy, but neat and clean.
Do NOT wear scrubs. That makes you look like you just got off a NOC shift as a NA.
Smile, look pleasant, look like you are glad to have an opportunity to work at THIS hospital and be ready to say why.
Relax. The fun is just begining.

Look on the BVNPT website and click on "license verification"; your license number is probably listed online.

My California LVN license number was listed well before my actual license was mailed to me.
