Continuing Education credits online

Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

My Texas LVN license expires on May 24. I have about a month to get 20 CEU credits so that I can renew my license online. Does anyone know where I can get one free or even paid ceus?

I really want to get them all in 1 week if possible so I don't have to worry about it in May.

Thanks I hope someone can lead me to the right direction.

I do a lot of my online ceu's from Western Schools (westernschools.com). They're not free but you get your certificate right away.

Ce direct?

Yournursece.com...The CE Solution Group...it's 29.95 a year for unlimited CEU'S but well worth it...you can print them anytime you need them...they have tons to choose from including the mandatory Dependent Adult Abuse

I use Medscape, they are free and they keep a log of your CEU's for 12 months. Really like it. It is medscape.com

nurse.com and nursingcenter.com offer a lot of free and low-cost CEUs. Also, both sides offer unlimited/discounted CEUs for a yearly fee.

I love NetCE.com. You can complete everything online including print certificates. When you register they keep online transcripts you may view and print anytime. I have used no one else for at least a dozen or more years.

You do not need to complete any CEUs if this is your first renewal ever for the Texas Board of Nursing. You only need to complete the twenty CEUs prior to all subsequent renewals every two years.

I use Medscape also, and they maintain the log a lot longer than 12 months. I just printed out five years' worth for my CNS recertification (and my records on the site go back farther than that, but five years' worth was all I needed). :)
