Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

Do you feel that earning your degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse is an accomplishment?? I am 22 years old and someday want to continue on, but not at this moment...

Specializes in MR/DD.

Heck yes!! I worked Hard for my license and I am very proud of it!

I have a Job that I love.

My original goal was to become an RN.. getting my LPN is just a stepping stone.. I start RN school in the fall :)

Specializes in Geriatrics.

I also feel that it is an accomplishment. I am 21 and will be done in about 4 weeks and it is by far the most anticipated graduation that I have had...No matter what anyone says..I can't wait until I can put LPN behind my name.... Congrats to everyone and the path that they choose:)

Specializes in Orthopedics.

I did the same route as you 'believeallispossible' and I totally think it is an accomplishment and so did everyobody in my family. I worked my butt off for a year and still worked my job and some how made it through so when it came time for graduation day I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and was able to look back and see that my education paid off for something. It's not my goal for longterm because I to want to get my RN, but for now it's just a stepping stone and it feels so good to have accomplished something! Good for you!!
