LPN jobs

just a few questions: My hubby may apply for a job in the Richmond area and I thought I'd do some research for myself. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

First, what jobs are out there for LPNs? Home health, Med-surg, rehab, acute, ER, LTC (a given), etc.....

I have one year as a new LPN, with eight years of experience

in nursing as an Aide and unit secretary. Some places want 5-10 years, will any of the previous exp. help, even though I am a NEW nurse?

Can I get some names of hospitals that might hire LPNs.

Any good fast track programs LPN to RN school wise?

Anyone work for HEalthSouth?

How do you like the weather? I am in MO. I just don't care for COLD COLD weather and ice, or HOT HOT like 100 degrees with 100% humidity. What can you say about yours? Pros and cons???

I sure do appreciate this!

I don't know about the LPN job market in Richmond. The winters are a little chilly and a little windy, but the snow doesn't regularly get measured in feet.
