Lpn best study book

What is the best study book to pass nclex pn? Looking for a book or app that has the questions similarly written like they have then on the nclex test. I take my nclex pn in a month

I used Saunders comprehensive review and UWORLD as my main study sources. I cannot recommend UWORLD enough. It's set up like the NCLEX and the rationales are really good. I also used lacharity PDA, which is also pretty helpful when it comes to prioritization. Good luck! :)

Thank you for your feedback. I haven't heard of UWORLD I'll def look into it.

Hi,do you know how to dot the "self-assessment" in UWORLD that predicts how well they will do, I keep seeing people talk about but have no idea how to do it. Do you know how? Please help

I think that's only available for the RN version.

I think that's only available for the RN version.

Thanks, may I ask how you are retaining the rationales in UWORLD? They are a bit lengthy, do you focus on the part at the end that says "educational objective" or remember the entire rationale?

I can't seem to find the UWORLD book online. I type that in and the Kaplan comes up. Is there a specify. Site you purchased it from?

It's an app not a book,

UWorld

Go to stop down list and choose the exam you are studying for Ex: NCLEX-PN

As far as price I believe you can get a free trial.

@California_Dreaming

What Saunders Book are you using?

Do you know of any test predictors similar to ATI, that will accurately predict you're chances of passing. Can't use ATI because my school didn't use it. (Only available for schools that did)

Did you take the NCLEX-PN already or are you about to take it?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm highly anxious

It's actually an app, you just need to choose the exam you are studying for from drop down list

I THINK you can get a free trial, but am not sure how

I used the Saunders book to review major diseases. I also highly recommend UWORLD [it's a question bank]! I bought a month's subscription--a little over a thousand questions if I recall correctly and did almost all of them. It took A LOT of pressure off while I was taking the exam. It has wonderful explanations and diagrams. I was scoring average/a little above average on the exams on UWORLD but didn't focus on my scores so much as what I was learning [why did I pick this answer over that answer] and it helped me. I passed my NCLEX-PN in March. :)

Hi there! I used Saunders 6th edition. I didn't like the online portion because I felt it was very detailed. I did enjoy the book to review. And then used UWORLD.
