Hello, I'm currently an LPN in colorado and i'm looking to get my RN, however there are no programs close to me so i'm looking for an online/distance program for which I can finish my RN. Do you know of any? The only one I know of is in WY. Ideally I would like to finish in under one year, the faster the better. I also have a Bachelor of Science if that means anything. Thanks, I did a search but didnt find any good info.

Of coorifice most people have heard of excelsior in NY. But a lot of community colleges are starting to pick up on this trend. You want one with local clinicals, unless you are a long time LPN with gobs of experience, so a local school would be ideal. There is one in Kansas called Pratt community college, you have to travel to there main campus about an hour west of wichita a couple times. Then the clinicals are done once course work is completed and clusters of students from the same area all around the state. It is NOT self paced, and take just under a year to complete. The have the same prerequisites as any other school and require 1000 hours of recent LPN experience. If you live near the boarder, ie eastern colorado, if might be an option. Otherwise check with your state board of nursing or the colorado state forum, see if anyone has heard of such a thing. I actually decided against that program and relocated for an on campus program, but to each there own...
Good Luck
