My Kaplan scores are very low but I passed my exam for the first time with 265 questions after 6 hours of horror. I left the testing center in tears, thought I failed it for sure. Got home and did the PVT and got the "good pop up", the trick really works. Just found out I passed today. 38 SATA, tons of prioritization, 1 med dose calculation, and meds I never heard off.
Diagnostic: 55%
Q1: 60%
Q2: 55%
Q3: 49%
Q4: 53%
Q5: 55%
Q6: 57%
Q7: didn't do
Readiness: 55%
Did 55% of the questions bank, average 58%. Those people that said Kaplan was easier than Nclex, it's not true, at least not for me. They are comparable. My word of advice is don't expect to come in there and passed it with 75 questions, after my computer went to question 76, I was devastated, my mind was distracted after that. Take the optional breaks. It was hard, but I passed so anybody can too. Just want to post this to ease some people anxiety. Good Luck !!!

Congratulations on your successful attempt at NCLEX! Hopefully your story will reach other potential NCLEX test-takers and appease some of their anxieties.

Thank you for sharing! Did you use anything else besides Kaplan to prepare? My test is in a few days and I'm starting to get nervous because I really haven't used much to review content.. I finished/reviewed the entire qbank and did all the qtrainers and sample tests. Congratulations!!!!! I bet it feels great to say you are officially a RN :)
I only used Kaplan, and I think it prepared me well. How are your scores? Good luck on your exam!!

congrats, but your scores weren't low! They were pretty average. They pretty much matched mmine in fact.
That really makes me feel better! I think its doing a good job too, Ive just seen posts where people have just used Kaplan and failed :x But I guess it all depends :) I got a 70 on the readiness, and q1-q6 scored anywhere from 60-70. Thank you!!! And congrats again!
