LSU transfering to Delgado??

U.S.A. Louisiana

Published

I am interested in applying to Charity School of Nursing, however, I'm not sure if Delgado accepts certain courses I am taking here at LSU. Does anyone know? Also, is it hard to get into Charity School of Nursing? Any bad/good reviews about Charity?

The only way you can find out if your courses will transfer to Delgado is to apply and to have your transcript evaluated. I think on the LSU website they have something called tiger transfer tables, I am sure you could use that table to figure out the equivalencies for your courses as reverse vs Delgado to LSU. In the option just select Delgado Comm.

Charity school of nursing is somewhat hard to get into, but it really depends. The admissions into the nursing school goes by profile points. It basically gives you certain points for a score on the HESI, points for a certain GPA, completition of all pre-reqs. Usually profile score of 60 out of 100 get in.

Charity is a good school. It was one of the most recommended nursing schools from people I work with in the hospital and also by people who are not even in the medical field. I think you have to remember that it is an associate program and you would have to return back to school to earn your bachelor to remain marketable. I am a prospective applicant to Charity and LSU nursing program.

That is an information bulletin for the nursing program. It will tell you everything you need to know. Even about the LPN and RN program.

Thank you so much C12H22O11 ! I am currently looking at what courses they are accepting.

You are welcome!
