Last minute advice for TEAS exam

U.S.A. Louisiana

Published

Hey everyone, I will be taking the TEAS exam this Wednesday 9/23 at Delgado. I have been doing math problems, going over grammar and spelling and science till about 5am! :redbeathe My heart is beating so fast; I'm so nervous!

Any last pieces of advice that will help me get through it. I am so scared of not passing.

Please help!

How was the teas test?

Thanks for asking. I failed it. Got a 67.5. Yeah, I know its terrible. Trust me, I cried for about a month. I think I have scared myself out of becoming an RN. Going to try for my LPN (actually passed the TABE exam last week as needed for the LPN program at Charity), and then I think I will be done.

Congrats on passing the Tabe. I also went the LPN route 9 years

ago through Charity. At the time I need to get out of school asap

and start making money.Going for my RN now. Maybe you could do

the same. But don't wait as long I did.

Thanks. I think I scared myself out of taking the TEAS ever again. I am just concerned that after getting my LPN diploma I won't be able to find a job. Working in a Nursing home isnt what I had in mind and I have heard that its mostly where LPN's find jobs.

I was hoping to work in a hospital in the pediatric dept (my dream was to land a job at Childrens Hospital), but I don't think thats going to happen.

Plenty of options for LPN's where I'm from. I went

directly into a clinic postiion. Working for a family

practice physician. I wasn't interested in working

for a nursing home either. I would suggest working

in a hospital first for the experience. Good luck to

you. I really enjoyed my LPN training.
