Hey you guys. I am about to start the RN program at OLOL in January and just wanted to introduce myself before I get into the thick of things. I can only hope all the horror stories I hear are overrated.

I just finished my BSNRN at SLU. Unfortunately, SLU loves to have students do papers ,presentations, and group work during the entire length of nursing school. I will say 1st semester is ALOT. It's ovewhelming, but you get used to it. CCKRN

PS I am awfully proud of that title though

I thought the first semester was bad with all of the papers, etc. but, I would rather do papers and presentations than have the instructor that I have for clinical. She doesn't tell you what she wants and expects you to know. She downgrades students. Everyone is afraid to ask her any questions. She makes you feel like you don't know anything. I am just counting the weeks til the semester is over and praying I will get a decent grade from her. Did you have any difficult instructors at SLU?

All the horror stories are true!!!! RUN!!!! Don't look back!!! Just joking. I just hope you have a strong stomach and a compassionate heart! I sure used a lot of exclamation points in this post!! :)
