Yay! Glad you are going back. I'm praying to get in this spring. This will be my first time applying. I should have a 55 before I take my HESI so I will need to do well on it (at least an 80) This will be my first time applying.

Thanks! I am sure that you will do fine on the HESI. A lot of the information on it is pretty basic. I am retaking A & P II this summer because it's been over 5 years since I've taken it. I've pretty much done everything. my profile score should be 80 or 85. When are you taking the HESI?

I'm taking it July 11. If for some reason I don't do well I will take it again August 1st. If I can get the 80 on the HESI I'll have a 70 profile score which I'm told gives me a good shot at getting in. You will have no problem getting in with 80!

You should do fine. You have plenty of time to study! Make sure you focus on your weak areas. I just took it yesterday, and I made a 90. Me weakest area beforehand was Biology, and I scored a 96 on that area after some pretty intense prep. I couldn't wait to take it because studying for those kinds of tests drive me crazy! So I had to get it over with. lol But yeah, 70 and over usually is good enough to get in.

Did you guys just call the city park campus to schedule to Hesi A2?

You have to go to the Testing Services and fill out a packet. Then, you have to pay the Bursar's office and bring it back up to them to secure your spot. When I went, the May 23rd date was filling up pretty quickly. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, I too am applying for the Spring 2017 class. I am currently in the LPN program at Charity but failed my med surg class by a point and a half. And now because of the the way the program is set up, would have to wait till January 2017 to retake it, so I figured I would go ahead and apply for the RN program. I have all my pre reqs done and just need to get a high enough score on the HESI taking it in July. Hoping to have a profile score of at least 70 but trying to aim for a 75 or 80. Just some advice, unless you feel like you really have to, I would try and go straight for your RN instead of starting the LPN program. The LPN program is not the best as far as structure and organization, and wish I would have tried again to get into RN Instead of rushing into the LPN program. Don't get me wrong, the RN program will be hard work and, but I have heard from many people who have attended both the LPN and RN program, that the RN program is put together much better, and after being in the LPN program, I now see and believe that. Much luck to everyone! I believe this set back in the LPN program was sign for me to try for RN instead, which I wish I would have done from the beginning, but was inpatient and wanted to start something asap as I'm sure we all do. Sounds like everyone is in a good place and I believe we've got this:)

I am also applying to CSN for the spring.. So much anxiety! I am taking my first Hesi A2 test on June 14th.. I've been studying like crazy.. For the evaluation sheet... The withdrawls section.. I withdrew once but it wasn't a requirement for the Nursing GPA, does it still count against me?

If it is not a required class then it does not count :-)

Awesome!! Thanks! I have completed math 128 but did not complete math 120(Contemporary math)... Does math 120 need to be completed prior to applying?

You only have to complete one of the maths, English comp I and anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab to be eligible to apply.

on the assessment sheet, "CSN Curriculum GPA"... What courses goes towards that? Is it everything you have completed or just the basic pre-reqs?
