Charity/financial aid

  1. I'm curious to know about financial aid when attending Charity. Do you just apply for aid as you normally would and they give a higher loan amount since you are in a nursing program? Or do you have to apply for additional loans? I'm just trying to figure out how one survives financially while attending this program. Thanks for any info.

I just applied for regular financial aid and i got money back because the program is so reasonably priced and I just took out the max fin. aid available.

Yes, Charity is under the umbrella of Delgado Community College. It doesn't care that you're a nursing major, just that you're a student taking a full-time course load.

I won't tell you what I think about charity's in-house financial aid office. I no longer waste my time with them...I just go to main campus city park to have my stuff done correctly the first time.
