so they must be getting really close to the end since you submitted the very last day. The nursing department says they don't send out phase two notices until like the end of made sometimes begging of June. Hopefully sooner.

At this point no-one has made it past phase two yet because here would be a list of student IDs not the LMC nursing homepage. They will also tell you in a letter specifically, you have made it phase two and it will give you information of TEAS testing date and all that. SO they are still calculating scores but should be getting close. I've been informed more than once that they usually let you know at the end of may towards early June. Last year they told the applicants on Memorial Day.

Sheesh, end of May or beginning of June? That's crazy to me considering I applied at the beginning of January. Oh well, I've waited this long. A few more weeks doesn't matter, I guess. ?

I know it sucks, last years nursing applicants (fall 2019) got their phase 2 notifications on Memorial Day. So did I, I applied within like the first week of the opening of the application process.

thanks for letting me know, I havent gotten much correrspondence from there and in the handbook it made it seem like everything was done right away so I was so worried I'd miss something! I constantly refresh their homepage LOL. I already took my TEAS at a different location last Summer, passed with an 84. I am hoping I even get a chance to phase 2 so they can see my TEAS score because I dont even think my first phase score was competitive considering I got all B's in my sciences.
A lot of people seem like they have great TEAS score. All I've been told so far for phase one is that a score of 45 is average, meaning its the score they see the most and to have a good chance of securing a spot in the top 32, you want a score of 50 or 55 or higher. I was also told a score of anywhere from 60 to 75 is great but they don't see a lot of them. I have a 45 from phase 1, so I'll be happy if I can even get on the alternate list after phase 1. I have already registered for anatomy at another college in case I don't get in, since I got a B instead of an A in that one science course. Anyway, hope this helped. Good luck to you all.
Hi RNmoss,
When I spoke to Nursing schools they said they will only take the first grade regardless if the class was taken at a different college. I earned a B in Physiology and I wanted to retake it at a different college, but the nursing schools told me that they will only take the first attempt grade. You should clarify that with the nursing schools though.

I agree, but it depends on the program bc all program standards are different. I know that with my LMC application, I submitted my app with a repeated A grade in English but after receiving the notification email in March, LMC ended up using my original B grade back from 2004, which turned out fine bc the point value was the same anyway. Delta also only takes the first attempted grade. ARC and Sac City will take the highest grade as long as the course was taken at another district. Some programs will subtract/not receive additional points for repeated grades (Sac State, Sierra) and others might average the two grades together in the GPA (Chico).
Earning a B in the sciences is pretty good considering how intense they were.

I think you may be referring to the TEAS test score, which is true they will only accept the first TEAS test score no matter where it was taken. But I know for LMC specifically in order to get another grade I have to retake anatomy at another college then transfer it. The counselor told me this is an option, unless it was recently changed. But I know this is an option for LMC, maybe not for other colleges but for LMC it is an option. Other wise it would be pointless to continuously apply every year if there was no hope or way to raise your points on the application process in order to increase your chances of getting in. I will have to check and make sure again, but I was told this is an option by the nursing counselors before. I appreciate the input, it never hurts to verify, so thats what I will do.
