Los Medanos Fall 2020

Hello! I am started this thread to if there are others who plan on applying to Los Medanos. ?

I just called the LMC Nursing Department. They said that one person goes through each application individually. Once that app is reviewed, then they send out the application status e-mail. It goes by the date at which the application was received, so the applicants that applied earliest got the e-mail already. I applied on 1/18/2020. I asked if I should be concerned if I haven't received it and she said "not at all," it just takes time to go through every single application.

I just received an e-mail back from Rikki Hall as well. She says that she is evaluating applicants in the order received and applicants will receive notification between now and the end of May. So nothing new. My anxious *** just needs to be patient LOL

LOL it's OK, I find myself checking my email even though some places haven't even closed their application ?‍♀️. End of May though? That's crazy. At least I will have heard from all of the other schools I applied to by then.

May is long, but I hope it will be worth the wait.

I think just wait because that's Phase 2 and we have to see if we're even selected for Phase 2 first.

Hey everyone! I'm so glad that I found this thread because I didn't even realize that an email was being sent out! So thanks for the warning everyone! I applied on 1/25 so I still have some time before I will probably hear back from them!

UPDATE: I asked Rikki Hall to exactly clarify the application letter and she did say they won't know who the top 80 is until the end of may. So they are still calculating scores from phase one for all the applicants and won't know who is moving on to phase two until they are finished with every application for phase one.

For those who did get the email...what date did you apply? ....to give an idea of what day they are currently working on.

I applied on 01/11 and got my email on 02/22. Scorpiodez, did you get your email yet? You said you applied 01/18, right? I imagine it will take a while if it's just one person.
