Hey All,

I’ve been checking on this thread to see if anyone has received the admissions packet that is due in the Summer. I emailed Erika this afternoon since I haven’t received any details either. I’ll update once I hear back and hopefully with some good news! Congrats to everyone!

Thank you for the update.

I couldn't plan my Summer vacation  because of this.

This was Erika’s response to my email:

“I apologize, you have not missed anything. Nursing Leadership has been working hard to place our current RN students as we continue to face unprecedented hurdles. I have requested that the director of the program put together a correspondence for the incoming class that can be sent out either this week or early next week. As soon as it is prepared I will send it out. Thank you for following up, have a great day.”

Thanks for checking on them Robbyynn. Had a feeling they have to plan around a few contingencies with the pandemic still ongoing. I'm just hoping we can all start this year like what they said last Summer ??

I’m glad she got back so soon, but will be more interested to see if there are any updates in the next week or so as restrictions are starting to lighten up. We shall see!

My elementary children already had plan set to go in person classroom in the begin  of April (after Spring break). They got assigned teacher and everything. We still got silent from LMC. Some nursing programs are still doing in other schools. Hearing nothing from LMC make me so nervous.  What if LMC cancel the results last year and start over.... it’s devastated to think about it. I couldn’t schedule the Summer plan for my family in advance ? because not sure about the program

I highly doubt they would cancel the results. They already had to cancel this year's application period for traditional RN pathway due to postponing our admission. They'll notify us once they have a set plan for having us attend the campus physically.

What is going on with Los medanos? I’m getting more and more worried.

I reached out early in March and Erika said she would try and have the Dean send a mass correspondence, but I’m not sure if that will happen. She said we haven’t missed anything, but I think it has to do with clinical sites not hosting students. Hoping that changes as I know other counties and hospitals surrounding the area (San Joaquin, Solano, etc.) have started allowing students back to do their rotations. Hopefully we will hear soon ????
