Hello! I am started this thread to if there are others who plan on applying to Los Medanos. ?

I just got mine yesterday around noon. Maybe since they're giving us all different dates to reply, they're replying to people at different times?

I hope so! I mean, they get around 500+ apps a cycle so i'm sure they're really busy. ? I'll just wait in anxiety in the mean time....lol

Lol I'm sure they are. Plus, you had WAY more points than I did, so if I got an email, there is no way you're not. Hopefully soon!

Anyone receive application status letter yet?

I have not. I was just about to e-mail the nursing department for the status.

I just read the thread and seen that some got theirs and I just received mine this morning. Did you apply later process of application dates? You already took the TEAS right? so maybe you they are just replying to people they are going to be inviting to take the TEAS test. In my letter it said although I am qualified for the nursing program, they have to add up ALL eligible points in order to assess my entry into the program which basically means I need my points from phase 2 before they can determine if I have a spot or not. At least that's what I think it means. You have more points in phase 1 than I do so I'm sure your letter is coming.

I applied in mid-January and took my TEAS last June. Katrina18 also took her TEAS already and she received an application status letter as well. I hope it's coming! I e-mailed them to tell them that I haven't received it yet and if I should be concerned. I'm hoping it will come soon. The wait makes me more anxious lol

I applied January 10th, no email yet either.

Let us know what they say!

I agree with what RNmoss said. Maybe you guys just have more points, so they don't need to verify as much with you guys? For us, they need to see the TEAS results? I don't know. I'm totally guessing. lol. Let us know what you hear!

Out of curiosity, how do they know you took your TEAS? I took mine as well and I don’t recall them asking anything about it on the app.

I don't think they did because that would be considered the "Phase 2" portion. I haven't received an e-mail back yet regarding the application status. They were quick to respond the last time I e-mailed back in January so I'm just trying to tell myself now "they're just really busy, they're just really busy" back and forth haha. I am anxious that I haven't received anything yet but I must learn patience through this long process. From what I read from the discussion post last round, there is only one person processing 500+ apps so i can imagine that they're busy. With that being said, I have no shame in going down there in person to figure this out haha

lol good for you! You're right though. 500 apps for 1 person is a ton! I'm sure that's why we're being given different dates to reply too.
