Has anyone heard from them? I didn't receive a confirmation of my application or anything.

I've heard nothing. I plan to call Monday about when I should submit my TEAS scores.

From what I've read on allnurses, those who receive a request to submit their score or take it at the school, get in. They usually don't ask everyone applying to submit their scores like other schools. I could be wrong though. The wait is killing me...

Soooo there's not a true lottery? Or they do a lottery and then get those people who were selected's scores? It looks like people found out starting around early June last year but I could have sworn they said June into July at the info session I went to.

It's a lottery. Those who are chosen by the random selection are asked to send in their TEAS score, take the TEAS if they haven't already, or decline. They are the only school I've applied to that asks for the TEAS score after admittance to the program. All the other schools I've applied to asked for it during the application progress or during the waiting period.

Called today - was told nothing has happened yet. Kinda debating if I should just send my TEAS scores now or not...just feeling suuuupeeer desperate right now! I can't believe it's this hard to get into nursing school when there's such a shortage and I have good stats :-(

I haven't heard anything from them either. In last year's post, they notified students in the first week of June. I hope they call or email us as soon as possible. The wait is making me nervous!

There's not many of us on here so maybe they have and we just don't know yet?

Could be. I just called and the woman said they are still working on the applications. They're going to notify us end of June or beginning of July. This is my second time applying to LAVC. Based on my experience , they notify selected students in the 1st or 2nd week of the month and send rejection letters a month after. So if people could just tell here if they got notified it would be great. At least we would know where we stand at the moment.

Agreed. I'm sure they tell people that so they don't panic waiting to hear something. Hopefully acceptances/invites to send TEAS results start going out soon...and hopefully someone who gets one comments here!!
