Hi there,
Has anyone applied to LAC School of Nursing for Fall 2019? I thought I would get this post going so we can stay informed and help each other through this waiting process! What are your points that you calculated?

I think they were referring to the LVN bridge not BSN. The LVNs have to fill out a questionnaire with interview questions. The RN generic program has its final applicants having an in person interview on Friday of next week. I think you will be interviewing with us on May 3.

Thanks! I am not nervous, just anxious and excited to get started! They will make their selections based off the interviews. We could score a maximum of 5 additional points to our overall scores. We find out if we make it into the program by May 15th! Congratulations to you getting accepted into the bridge program!
What is everyone wearing to the interview? I was thinking a black business like jacket with black business/casual pants and a pair of black tennis shoes ...I’m thinking it will be cold in there and if I wear heels it will be loud every time I take a step which might stand out in a group-type interview plus I want to be comfortable just in case they ask us to do an activity.
What was everyone else thinking?

I think that sounds good! Im wearing the classic white button down shirt and black slacks with flats. Im definitely not wearing heels in case we have to be on our feet for activity. I might bring my black blazer to wear but depending on the day and weather I might not wear it.

I had the date but misplaced it but its on the website under current student section. The website is down now so I cannot check but I do remember they have us coming in for orientation for 4 days in early August! Orientations are usually one day so when I saw it was four days Mon-Thur, I was like its beginning to feel "real", if you know what I mean! I really hope I get into the program!

I would just call and ask. I just finally finished and emailed back my interview questions for the bridge program. Took longer than I’d thought it would.
