Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

Yes it is! You and I have the same amount of points, we still have a chance. Don't lose hope!

Pretty sure we spoke to the same person! She made it seem like things are going to look positive for me!! Ugh this this killing me because I hope it's true lol.

I hope both of us hear good news on monday

So they calculated her points wrong. These people don't seem too organized. That shouldn't be happening..i called and asked about my points. She said that they have to call me back. I find it difficult to get the same information you guys are getting.

I received another email this morning regarding uniform purchasing. It looks like we have to commit to LACCONAH by this Friday...

Still waiting on PCC, but yeah I'm very fortunate to have been accepted to every school I applied to. I'll be attending Friday.

You deserve it! You obviously busted your behind getting those high grades and now you're seeing the results. I'm happy for you! If I were in your place, I'd stay with county. I mean, where else are you going to get the awesome clinical experience? There's no other setting alike. County-USC is it.

Spoke to some lady with a thick accent...she said the person in charge will call me back AGAIN.

Shes like the person in charge leaves at 3:30 and I had to leave a message for the lady. And she wasnt giving me a clear answer.

She goes " oh she just left" then im like what "shes coming at 3:30" and ok so can I call back or leave a message?

Ughh.

And no letter/ email either

Thanks! I was honestly surprised that they admitted me. I know County has the best clinicals, but I'm thinking about costs vs time now since I have options. I used to live approximately 1.0 mile away from the school. If I still lived there then it would've been an obvious choice. I should probably speak to an academic counselor haha.

I wonder if a good amount of people decline their seats because of admission at another school. County notifies acceptances really late so I really do hope people decline their seats bc they got in somewhere else :(

Hey everyone. I looks like a lot of you are discussing when you will hear back from them but I did get a conditional acceptance and I wanted to let you guys know that they asked us to let them know if we accept/or decline but this Thursday. So maybe hopefully they will let you all know next week but then again orientation is this Friday...so maybe they will hold another orientation for the late acceptance?!
