No, I don't know anything about where I will be doing clinicals. That makes me nervous... What city do you live in ? I am in Rosemead.

I live in Valencia, which is near Magic Mountain. When I talked with them on the phone, they asked me which site I wanted to do my clinicals at because I live closer to Olive View, which is in Sylmar. I think if they did not specify in your letter, it is safe to assume that your lecture/theory classes and clinical classes will be at the Los Angeles location. I'm sure you will find everything out on Friday.

I got my letter of "rejection" today. I missed by one point. If I said I was not upset, I'd be lying, but I can't do any more that what I did. We'll see what happens for the Spring term. Best wishes to everyone.

I'm sorry. That sucks to be so close and not make it. Don't give up, though. You'll get in eventually. It seems like the crop of applicants gets stronger as the semesters pass by, so perhaps you could take another class to boost your points? Best of luck to you!

@Snookie: Thanks so much for the words of encouragement (and sympathy!) I took two classes this semester so I'll be golden for the Spring with 6 more points for those and 1 point for having applied before. So I'll see you in the Spring, I hope! Best wishes to you!
