Just wanted to start a thread for people who are applying Jan. 15 - Feb. 15 2020

Im trying to apply even though i only have 78 points without the interview points. ? hehe

But If I don't get an invite in MAY, I'll try to retake some GE's and bump my score up to 80.

However, I'm still going to try and turn in my application on Jan. 15

has anyone been contacted for the generic Fall 2020 program?

Hi, so I looked at the Fall 2019 thread and the applicants seemed to have gotten emails about interviews on April 15th, the interviews took place in early May, and they received acceptance emails/letters on May 15th. However, with this whole COVID-19 situation, I am not sure if this timeline will remain the same. The interview may even be virtual if it is not resolved by then. As soon as I happen to hear something back I will make sure to let everyone know!

I just checked the schools website for updated info for the LVN to RN with no luck anyone hear from the school for the bridge program yet??? It says for the generic RN program for fall 2020 they have cancelled the interview portion.

The lvn to RN bridge programmed is cancelled for this year and the applicants who were accepted can keep their place for next year ?

Wait what??? When did you find that out?? I sent an email out on march 27th asking about acceptance letters and was told they are being sent out sometime this week.

For the LVN bridge I was notified March 16th. And I had to reply by March 27 to accept. However I got an email yesterday that the bridge program is being postponed 1 year. Maybe they haven’t sent all acceptance letters yet. And I bet a lot of people will drop out rather than wait a year.

WOW!, did they give a reason as to why it is being postponed? Is it over the covid19?

Yes, since they are closed due to covid the current class is being pushed back and there won’t be enough for them to finish before we start, and there aren’t enough resources for both classes to run concurrently. ?

anyone happen to get in contact with the school about when they will send out acceptances for the general RN program for fall 2020? Is it still May 15th or do you think they will come out sooner since we aren't doing the interviews?

Hi where did you receive notice that the college will not be conducting interviews? I checked the portal, nothing.
