I don't know how many points I have since I am taking the TEAS later this month. How many points do you guys expect to have? How many applicants usually apply? Good luck everyone!

  •  El Camino's college application period is twice a year beginning the third week of the fall and Spring semester during a three-week period.
  • Los Angeles County nursing and allied health from Jan 15th – Feb 15th, you can reapply to this same program.                                           Wishing you all the best. This application is for fall 2022.
  • For Elcamino you need to take NURS 143 (formerly N145) Introduction to Nursing and NURS 144 (formerly N48) Dosage Calculations with a “C” or better. NURS 143 and NURS 144 must be taken at El Camino College or Compton College.

anyone know what the health clearance is? are there any forms I need to bring?

Hi! I’m applying for Fall 2022. I’m curious if anyone knows the point threshold for entry for Spring 2022. I was told 86 pre-interview by one person… can anyone confirm?

Hi hi!

I had 78 before interview and after 82, I got my rejection letter last week that confirmed The cut off was 86 after interview.

The Spring 2022 was very competitive since they canceled Fall 2021 application period.

Good luck! I may go for fall 22 but we’ll see.

Oh! So the cutoff was 86 post-interview, not pre-? I’m asking because I currently have 86 or 87 (depending on which grade they accept for my humanities). I can jam English 101 into my schedule to boost my pre-interview score higher but I wasn’t sure if I was safe with my score as is.

Good luck with your applications in the next cycle!

Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone knew why Fall 2021 was canceled? I’m a little concerned because I looked at the BRN and their on time graduation rate is low. Wondering if this is because of COVID or staffing issues?

As far as I know, 2021 was specifically covid related. They’re far from the only school that had large impacts from COVID and who canceled or pushed back cohorts. Regarding the attrition/on-time graduation rate, my understanding is LACCONAH is a particularly strenuous program that has a reputation for turning out nurses with clinical skills considerably more advanced than other programs. The rigorous nature of the program is actually what attracted me in the first place.

All that said, this is all second-hand information that I’ve gathered piecemeal on the web, so if anyone has any more accurate info or can elaborate, I’d be very curious to hear your thoughts

Just to add on, I had 86 total points before the interview. My interview went well from my perspective. I'm only assuming because I got into the program. Best of luck of to everyone applying and attending!

I see. I completely agree as to why you were attracted to the program because I completely relate! I did notice there were students attending classes when I went to my interview and a coworker of mine is currently attending LACCONAH and said that fall 2021 was not canceled. I think I will ask them tomorrow during pre registration.

Thank you for clarifying:) I was confused. But still, I am worried about their on-time completion rate. Does it indicate that students dropped out or kicked out a lot?

Either way, how does that impact your education what other people did?
