What is the best thing to do with a leaf book? I am kind of frustrated because I ordered a new book that cost me $120 and there was no mention it was loose leaf. I just took it out of the package and didn't find out until the pages started to move. I don't have time to return it, so what is the best thing to do with it? Binder or is there some other type of rings or something that will hold it together so I don't have the extra bulk of a binder?
(I get that these type of books would probably be an ideal option for a nursing student who doesn't want to carry the whole book around and is considering getting the book rebound into sections anyway or put just a couple of sections into a binder. That may be something I would keep in mind for the future but for now, I would like to have a complete book.)

You can check with kinko's - they offer binding, but I'm not sure of the cost.
It is true that unbinding your books in NS is a good idea. I've done it...Those books are HUGE and weigh more than you would think.
Good Luck!

I just keep it all in a binder and take the pages I need with me to class.

I put the book in a binder and it worked out just fine.:)
Ok, I did go ahead just put it in a binder. It all fit in a one inch, so not too bulky. I was afraid I would need a larger one. The thing I am worried most about is that the pages seem to move too much around in it and I'm afraid that flipping back and fourth is going to wear the holes out and that pages won't stay in. The pages are not the greatest of quality--very thin. We will see. If I start having problems with it, I will take it to an office supply and see what they can do for me. Thanks!

You can buy what's called "book rings" at Staples. They are metal rings that come in different sizes and you just put them thru the holes and they snap together...very durable and pretty inexpensive. I use them for sections of notes that I want to carry with me, flashcards, whatever. I'm pretty sure they would work perfectly for your book.
