I graduated nursing school in Philippines last 2006, came here to America April 2007, instead of reviewing I worked hard as a nursing assistant in a care home, then realize I have to be a nurse, so took nclex without reading or practicing enough in answering questions last September 2008 unfortunately I failed then it takes a while before I took it again,

hi kabayan, I'm from the philippines too.,migrated here in the US on august of 2010, but i went back in PI after a year of staying here to continue my studies, and graduated last march 2013, i took the PNLE exam on dec last year and god's grace i passed, came back here last feb since i have my ATT and I'm scheduled to take it just last month march 15,. but due to financial constraints, i just self reviewed and i only used two materials, one is the SAUNDER'S 5th comprehensive book which i borrowed from my cousin,.and my old book kaplan (2008-2009 ed) which i just bought in "RECTO" MNL,., lol and indeed it helped me a lot pass both of my exams on my first try, especially the saunders, i recommend you to read the comprehensive book from cover to cover and as much as possible answer all the questions in the disc especially the multiple format type of questions,., i tried reading kaplan but i guess it's harder to understand and it just teach you how to strategize which i believe should only be our last resort as test takers.. it's safer for us to know the concept which i can attest saunder's can provide.. as much as possible use only 1-2 references so you won't be confuse,, best of luck kabayan! GOD BLESS:D
ps. i also used saunders 5th too when i took my PNLE., but then it's a photocopied one,. lol
Thank you for your suggestions.... I had Kaplan before & purchase the online study but it didn't really helped its hard for me to understand how to do the decision tree.. I think I really have to focus & give time in studying.... I also have the saunders Ed 5, but since you told me that is very helpful I will give time in reading....
