I wanted to say that I enjoyed participating in the recent AN Pneumonia Case Study and am looking forward to the next one.

Asking members to post their answers in the Help Desk was a good idea in my opinion; it kept people from seeing other members answers and I also found it pleasant to be able to post my answer without posting it publicly.

I hope we can continue with more Case Studies that give all of us the opportunity to apply our knowledge and experience and to learn something.

Thank you.  I should have clarified that I was referring particularly to the Case Studies where we are encouraged to guess the diagnosis and post our answers in the Help Desk, ask questions, and request more information.  I enjoy this much more than being presented with a Case Study with the option of posting our opinion on the thread.

Hello @Susie2310

The link I provided above is the type of Case Study you were talking about. In this current Case Study, you are to go to the Help Desk to post your guess at the diagnosis.

Thank you for your reply sirI.  Given my OP, when you mentioned five Case Studies I had assumed you were referring to the type of Case Study where we post our diagnosis in the Help Desk.  I looked for five Case Studies of this type and was unable to find the other three of this type - perhaps you could direct me to them.  I did find other Case Studies, but not the other three of this kind.  I apologize if I misunderstood your reply, but I took it to mean that the five Case Studies referred to other Case Studies besides this type.  I did find the current Case Study - the link you provided - and have posted my questions and intend to post my guess at the diagnosis.  I hope I may express my preference for this type of Case Study.

When the first 2 were submitted last year, we realized many members posted their guesses in the Case Study and that spoiled it for others, so we added the message to please go to the Help Desk to register their guess at the diagnosis. Here are the first 4 Case Studies (CSI), @Susie2310.

And, here is the 5th Case Study that was published this week: https://allnurses.com/case-study-unexplained-bruises-t715703/

I hope this clears up any confusion.

And, yes, we greatly appreciate your feedback. 🙂
