Looking for Florida Job

I will be moving to West Palm in the next year and will be searching for a job in med/surg, surgery center or ER. Any recommendations? What can I expect in the ways of salary? Thanks for the info!

I lived and worked in the West Palm area for 9 years. There are several good hospitals in the area. It depends on what you want to do. Have you visited South Florida? It's very busy, all the hospitals are very busy. You will work very hard and the pay will be good. :mad:

Hi, I am considering re-location to the south Florida area. The current hospital that I am employed with is a happy, upbeat, feel -good kind of place. Hopefully, I can find the same type of "big happy family" type of atmosphere within a Florida hospital ,too.Can anyone from Delray Medical Center tell me about your RN orientations ? Are they scheduled for different times of the year or ongoing ?How is the overall "feel" there for nurses? Would love the input of one who knows. Thank you.
