Welcome to the site
In the VSC handbook there should be a form you complete and send to BON/BRN to forward your NCLEX results to ICHP. Have you already sent an application to ICHP with you already sending your transcripts?
hi to everyone,
as of this time i have not started processing my vsc. ive sent my trf to idp for them to forward to ichp. they say that it should be paired with my nclex so that my ielts would not expire. just dont know which step to do first. please advise me. thanks.

How will ICHP know what to do with your transcript if you haven't started an application with them? If they have nothing to pair it up with they are likely to destroy it. If you have passed NCLEX then you may as well get VSC done

Please use proper puctuation and grammar so that your posting is easy to read. If I am finding it confusing, then many others must be as well. And since you are going to have to pass the English exams, this is the best place to start.
Not even sure what the trf stands for as we do not use that term here and I never want to assume anything, and neither should you.
No state is going to send anything into CGFNS/ICHP without you enclosing the proper form as well as payment to them to handle this for you. No state does it for free.
And just to clear up any misconsceptions that you may have:
If you do not have an application submitted to ICHP, they are not required to hold onto anything that is sent to them on your behalf. And until the VSC is actually issued to you, your English scores may become out of date.
IELTS scores are normally forwarded to the two places that you list on the application when you submitted for that exam, otherwise you need to contact them to have the scores forwarded on for you. The release that you will send to the state BON is specific for the NCLEX results only and nothing else is just included with it.
hi good day to all!
Im sorry if i sounded confusing. TRF stands for test result form of IELTS. My IELTS review center has already sent this to IDP for them to send it to ICHP. How would i know if indeed it was received by ICHP.
I am an NCLEX-RN passer (Saipan as my state) and wishes to process my VSC before my English test expires. Do i need to have an employer before i can apply for it? What procedures must i take?
Thanks.
You do not need an employer to do VSC, everything can be found on CGFNS website including the handbook. Until you have an application and they can pair your IELTS with it will you know whether they have received it, but like we mentioned before no application to pair up they may dispose of it
hi,
thanxs for the reply. Ill follow your advise.

Thanks for clarifying that, it is not a term that we ever see here. And in the future, it is always better to spell out what you are looking for when using just the capitals of the words, they can have many different meanings and can cause issues for you later on.
IDP does not send results of the IELTS to ICHP/CGFNS; it is done by the IELTS and to the places that you have listed on the application to them. It is only the responsibility of IDP to forward your passing results of the NCLEX exam to ICHP and nothing more than that. You only give them a release for the NCLEX and not for any other information to be sent.
Again, what are you referring to when you use IDP as it means many other things here as well. Saipan is not a state, but a US territory and they are also not computerized, so they are very slow in getting things taken care of as well.
As mentioned above, if you have not sent in an application and have not paid the fees for that service, ICHP/CGFNS is under no responsibility to even hold onto your scores. And not sure when you tested but the results are only valid for two years and that means that you must have the VSC issued before that time or then they will be obsolete. Just because you have had them sent, it does not count until the certificate is actually issued.
In the future, please use only well known and accepted abbreviations here. There are many that are from other countries that read here as well, and if I cannot figure out what you are speaking of, then they are not going to be able to either.
Are you actually planning to work in Saipan or on the US mainland?
Please be aware that in any hospital here, any abbreviation must be one that is included in a list that the hospital provides to protect patients from errors.
saipan being a US territory and the fact that they are very slow in releasing documents is one of our biggest concern. its hard to communicate with them my friend has tried calling them, sent fax messages and she has not received any reply.
what do we do?
thanks.
Where are you going to work or is this for a friend?
Saipan is a US territory, but it is not a state in the US and should not be called that.
Are you asking all of these questions for yourself or your friend as you are now getting me confused once again.
Without an application actually being sent into CGFNS/ICHP for the VSC, there is no way to tell you if they have received the documents. If one wants the VSC, then one needs to submit the proper application and the fees as there is no company that will proceed without being paid and there is no reason for them to do so.
And for others that are reading here, please use a state or territory that is computerized and can be reached. No sense in going thru Saipan if one is not going to work there. Sure, in the past they were the only ones that offered the NCLEX exam, but it still dd not require that one went thru there for licensure, and this just proves it again.
But please be up front with what you are doing, some posts say that you have sent something in, and then others talk about a friend.
