Long Island New Grads 2024

Hi fellow nurses! I thought I'd make a thread for us new grads in the Long Island area. My friend and I graduated in May and have passed the NCLEX early July and early August and we have been having SUCH A HARD TIME to land something in the LI area:/  We have sent applications over the past 2 months to the Northwell Health system, Catholic Health system, Mount Sinai South Nassau, NYU Langone, all for different units including med surg, and have not gotten even 1 interview. For Northwell, I have gotten rejections within an hour LOL. I have reached out to talent acquisition specialists for Northwell and Catholic Health but they are no help, they seem to ghost after a few interactions. I wanted to see if anyone else has been running into the same issue and for those who have been successful in getting a job, maybe to drop a few tips and what they did to get their job:) Thank you!:)
