Anyone applying?
the english proficiency test, if you graduated from a high school outside the U.S. then you have to take it. It is one of the things on the list to complete, when I first saw it I freaked because I did not know what is was either..feel free to correct me people, but I am pretty sure it is what I said. And to those of you who have to take it...well, GOOD LUCK!
look on the lone star website, search toefl, and it says if graduated outside u.s., but if you graduated from english speaking country show diploma or take the test, I did not see anything about a ged, but I do not have my form with me, but hang in there!!..you should be fine, just double check..no worries!!
I too have my GED, I don't think we have to take it, because I did go to high school here in the U.S and I've never lived in another country. I guess I'd better double check though. That is really ridiculous I think if we've all gotten this far regardless of where we went to high school they should know that we can read and speak english!!
@Heather Congrats! Hope the ride is smooth for all of us....@analystmama The program is 2 yrs. Regardless if it is 5 (only 1 summer) or 6 (including 2 summer) semesters, the graduation date would be December 2013. If the program does not have any summer semesters then the graduation date would be in May 2014.
Remember we are starting at the beginning of 2012 and so by the end of 2013 you have actually all of 2012 = 1 yr and all of 2013 = 1 year for a total of 2 years.
Thanks Heather! So I guess the group name would be Lonestar Cy-Fair ADN C/O 2013? I'll try to start posting some of the orientation info, etc. when we get it that way we can all stay organized. Do we want to make it a private group also so that we can feel okay about what we post to each other?
I didn't graduate out of the country but I did get my GEDSo I guess I have to take it
Makes no sense
I took English 1301 and got an A
I obviously dis good on the HESI English portion
So why do I have to take that? Makes no sense

Congrats to everyone!!
