Ok, I know those of you accepted feel so happy. But let me tell you, I made the alternate list and I feel just as happy.

I hear you! I came into this thinking I didn't have a shot since the cutoff is usually so high. I'll be thrilled to be an alternate. And, if Kingwood's cutoff looks anything like Cy-fair I should be in good shape.

@hcb5 If you were born in the US it is likely that you are immune due to childhood immunizations. What you could do is have a Hep B Titer completed. I had one done at Any Lab Test Now 9742 Katy Freeway, Ste D200. It is at I-10 and Bunker Hill in the parking lot near the HEB. Their phone number is 713-461-2121. My results were back in just a couple of days.

Another thing, if you currently do not have health insurance and are looking for a place to have a physical, check out Wal-greens Take Care Clinic. I had mine done for $35, but I think the price was going to change Oct. 1 because they were doing a back to school special and I qualified because I had the form from Lonestar. I previously was considering the CNA cert. given through the CE department, and they required a physcial and background check. I have most of the things on the list already complete.

You should be fine but worst case you can get a titer to show immunity. Congrats!

I am so very happy for everyone who's gotten a letter. The wait for them is somewhat over.

But man am I disappointed in KWs lack of a sense of urgency!
