Anyone applying?

Well I called the nursing department last week to see if they mailed the letters out and the woman said they will not be out until the end of September and beginning of October. Maybe someone else should call this week?:lol2:Lol.

Oh and by the way a friend of mine is married to a RN (he is over the whole E.R department) and she would show him the work we did in A&P 2 over the summer and he laughed and said that most of all the things we learn in that class we will never use again. So I dont think it matters if you have an A or a B in some classes. We just have to get through the application process to start the material we really are going to need. I think as long as you have the three A's in English, Psychology and one of the Anatomys it helps your overall points on the application. I hope we can all be happy and smile when we recieve our letters!!!:D:D:D Cant wait to put a face with some of the names.... hope we all meet soon.:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

I have a couple of girlfriends in the Kingwood program now and they got their letters the first week in October because they were mailed on the 29th/30th of September.

Tick tock goes the insanity clock...:anbd:

Today I had a CNA test (and I passed!) and met a guy who was there also testing. We were all talking about the ADN application process an I said I was anxiously waiting for the letter... Anyway, the guy asks me "where did you apply?" I told him Cyfair, then he said "I did too... What is your score?" when I told him 11.66 he said "great" with a big smile and I thought he was happy another fellow student was trying... But he replied "great... You are not competition for me, since I have 11.77"

I really disliked that guy... Anyway, live and learn... Even at my old age I still think everybody is nice... Wrong!

@lindalyn....one word...JACKASS! :angthts:

This is the funniest smilie ever! :anbd: Pauseymo, you really made me laugh!

The picture of that smilie face is exactly how I feel!!!

I feel the same way!!!!

@lindalyn......Ten bucks says the jerk that you talked to today is sitting across from YOU at orientation :) Make sure you smile really big and remind him of where you saw him last :) Maybe next time he will make better use of his manners.

i applied last application period. the letter was dated april 29 but the envelope was postmarked april 28 and i got it in my box after may 3. so i am guessing we will get the letter either october 4th or 5th. good luck everyone as this will be the last weekend we will have to wait for our letter.

Man this is so stressful.....I was looking back at last years posts and most of the people from KW received their letters on the 1st. So, Saturday I will find an excuse to be in my front yard ALL day long waiting on Mr. Postman:anbd:

@lindalyn Congrats on passing the CNA. I am seriously considering taking that route beginning this Saturday at Cy-fair. I have everything they require complete, but I am having a hard time forking over almost $700 and not being to sure where it will get me other than close to broke.

@robin1030 I hope for you that it is not raining on Saturday. The postwoman that comes to my place gets here after 4:30pm and it takes her nearly an hour to sort mail out for 430+ apartments. I guess what I am saying is, I would have all day to clean house, wash laundry, go grocery shopping, wash my car, rearrange my sock drawer, and start dinner before the mail even gets here. lol
