lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

I finally found the book bundle on the efollett website after manually entering all of the class information into the prompts... only problem is both bundles are back ordered! I have been calling the bookstore weekly and they keep telling me books wont be in until January sometime and when you go through the link on the mylonestar portal it says that the class information is not available. I'm confused. Has anyone gotten to order a book bundle? or is the website just saying that they're backordered because they aren't actually in yet? HELP!

I was told by the book store that they are taking preorders but they won't be in until Jan.

No problem! If you look as well, it tells you who your instructors are now.

I didn't because you have to go to the kingwood book store! I have not been able to make it up there and still waiting on financial aid approval.

where did you buy the lab kit??? and what is in it.

At the book store. Practice stuff like bandages scissors, syringe. ..:)

I haven't received the money yet. Hopefully the school will send the money automatically to my bank account.

I think they will be sending the money in jan. It is normally a week before school.

Well when I made that mistake filling out the forms for the book advances they told me money will not be released until January 6

There is no reason to worry about the books. They will have them ready in January

Are the lab kits mandatory for kingwood?
