Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54
Well today I was placed "Does not meet SAP". No Financial aid unless my appeal is approved. Without financial aid.... never mind I don't want to think about that. I am cutting my trip short and will be knocking on the door of the Financial aid department the moment they open Jan 2nd. I'm a little concerned as I saw an earlier posting of someone that was in the same situation and they denied the appeal. I do have very good reasons and documentation for going over my limits. At this point I am just going to be very proactive and get the books I need for required reading during our break. Saying lots of prayers and putting it in God's hands.
Echo5iveDelta do you have any clue about the books? I wanted to order off Amazon but I think some do not come with "bind-in access". Not sure if it's required but the ones sold from the bookstore come with them.

Just buy the books that you need to read from. That's what I am doing!
