lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Well today I was placed "Does not meet SAP". No Financial aid unless my appeal is approved. Without financial aid.... never mind I don't want to think about that. I am cutting my trip short and will be knocking on the door of the Financial aid department the moment they open Jan 2nd. I'm a little concerned as I saw an earlier posting of someone that was in the same situation and they denied the appeal. I do have very good reasons and documentation for going over my limits. At this point I am just going to be very proactive and get the books I need for required reading during our break. Saying lots of prayers and putting it in God's hands.

Echo5iveDelta do you have any clue about the books? I wanted to order off Amazon but I think some do not come with "bind-in access". Not sure if it's required but the ones sold from the bookstore come with them.

Thank you!!!! Now my dilemma is if i should quit my job. Which i love i work at texas childrens as a front office specialist. Im part time, i dont know what to do!!

I don't know what to do. I am waiting on financial aid and word from a scholorship to pay for books, but there are so many chapters that need to be read before classes start. What should I do?

Did I miss an email about what needs to be read before school starts? I feel so lost here.

What campus are you attending tlm2315?

congrats to all alternates that were accepted

Just buy the books that you need to read from. That's what I am doing!

CyFair sent a Power Point from the orientation and the chapters are listed there.
