Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

Nevermind I found it.

My HESI score is already showing up on my scoresheet. I'm not complaining but I thought it would take a few days for it to show up. Is that normal for it to be entered so quickly??

Looks like I will be turning in my application tomorrow!!!!

Mine took a full week to show up.....prob rushing because we are so close to deadline.

When I turned my application into Kingwood, I didn't get a receipt. Were they supposed to give me one? I'm a little worried now. Anyone else that applied to Kingwood get a receipt? I just don't want anything to go wrong.:confused:

It may be a cyfair policy......

My score was available for review the next day! By the way, great job on your score :yelclap:, now we wait and wait and wait some more urghhhhh!

*Kyla-congrats on your score! It is a bummer when you think about only missing 3 questions...so frustrating.

Thanks for the info on Pharm and good job on making an A with all the rush and problems you had with the class. Perhaps it was just preparing you to be in Nursing school. I hope I won't be reading 14 chapters a week in 2 weeks! I bet you have a huge relief off your shoulders now.

**I never got a receipt either from Kingwood** That's not good for my brain! What did it look like and who gave it to ya'll?? I need to take my CE Micro certificate up there tomorrow...maybe someone will give me a Golden Ticket as well?

or we need to show proof of the hep b too?

I just turned in my hard copies (I got a receipt...I also got an email confirmation when I submitted online) and asked the lady when they will be sending out letters. She said the end of September. I know from previous threads that you can't always rely on what they say but that is a lot sooner than I had originally thought. Just over a month to go! I also asked if a lot of people had applied and she said yes. I asked if it was more than normal and she said no. So I guess that is a good thing?

I need to find out what time the mail man drops off our mail so I can be prepared to stalk him. :p

When I submitted it online a little pop up box came up and said we needed to turn in the app w/score sheet, along with the student evaluation (you can find this on MyRecords) and proof of the first Hep B shot.

When I turned mine in to CyFair I gave them the app, score sheet and Program Evaluation printout. I asked her if I needed to show proof of Hep B and she said not now. So just those 3 things.
